Amazon‘s Spring Deal Days sale officially kicks off this week, with the online giant set to roll out hundreds of price cuts. The sale starts on Wednesday 20 March and runs until 23.59 on Monday 25 March.
There are already big savings in the beauty, home, kids, tech and garden sections – like hundreds of pounds on Shark vacuum cleaners, Samsung smartwatches and discounts on hanging egg chairs just in time for spring.
But some sites can help you save even more money by applying additional discounts. Here, we’ve rounded up the three most important thanks to a little help from our friends at The Mirror.
Amazon Subscribe and Save
Amazon’s lesser-known pages like the “subscribe and save” feature let shoppers save more by subscribing to a product and getting a discount when buying in bulk. The feature can be found below the listing for some items, and will usually appear near the “add to cart” button.
It’s usually found in the pages for everyday items like toiletries, cleaning supplies, and other things you may need to replenish frequently. Checking the box will give you a small discount on your order and allow you to schedule deliveries at regular intervals.
The option is only available for free to Amazon Prime members. You can cancel it at any time, and it comes with the convenience of never running out of items or forgetting to order them.
“Today’s Deals” section.
The Deals of the Day page is a popular feature of all major Amazon sales, and one that most shoppers will be familiar with. Nonetheless, it’s important to bookmark for the upcoming Spring Deal Days sale.
The current ‘deals of the day’ section, even before the sale has started, includes £150 off Google’s latest Pixel 8 Pro phone, £20 off travel items like this Philips handheld steamer and up to 46% off coffee machines including £50 off Philips L’OR Barista.
What are Amazon Lightning Deals?
This is where shoppers can find today’s “best deals” during major sales events. By clicking on this section of the website and filtering the search to “save” customers get the best prices. If you’ve never shopped in a fast-paced Prime Day sale before, you’ll need to be quick because flash deals don’t tend to stick around for long.
It’s similar to the daily “deals of the day” section, which shoppers can browse through every day, even during non-sales, but the price cuts are only available for a couple of hours. Once the product is out of stock, it will not be returned at the reduced price.
