A selection of pastries and cannoli available at Don Nino

It turns out that you won’t be needing the likes of Ryanair and easyJet in order to have your tastebuds transported to Italy this summer. A brand new gelateria has just set up shop in London, bringing a delicious taste of La Dolce Vita straight to the heart of the Big Smoke – just in time for the sunny(ish) season.

Don Nino is an internationally-acclaimed Italian gelato shop, that has popular sites in Rome and Florence. And now London is getting in on the decadently delicious actionas Don Nino has recently flung open the doors of its first UK venue. And you’ll find it right outside Paddington station.

Serving up big old scoops of luxurious gelato alongside sweet and savoury pastries, Sicilian cannoli, and coffee; Don Nino comes courtesy of the award-winning gelato-makerFrancesco Mastroianni. Having been hailed both a ‘Master Gelato Maker’ and a ‘Treasure of Italy’; it’s safe to say that he knows his way around a gelato scoop.

Don Nino London will have 24 delicious flavours of gelato on offer, from rich to refreshing. Each of which has been carefully-created by Mastroianni and his team. Alongside his gelato-related accolades, Mastroianni is also a decent pastry chef, and so you can expect the patisserie offerings to be (fil)oh-so delicious, too.

Benito Megnamanager of Don Nino in London, said: “We’re thrilled to introduce Londoners to our authentic Italian gelato and freshly baked pastries and Sicilian cannoli in our first UK store.

“We look forward to sharing la dolce vita with our customers – the best way to enjoy summer in London is with a Don Nino gelato.”

📍You’ll find Don Nino London at1 Paddington Square, W2 1DL. The closest station is, rather unsurprisingly, Paddington.
