Two 18-year-old men were arrested at separate addresses in east London earlier this morning (April 16), as reported by our sister title London Now.
Officers also carried out searches at both locations.
One man was arrested on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life, while the second was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit arson with intent to endanger life.
Both remain in police custody.
Four ambulances from Hatzola, a volunteer-led ambulance service, were set alight on March 23 near a synagogue.
Explosions from cylinders on the vehicles shattered windows of nearby buildings,
Three other people were previously charged in connection with the incident, while another man was previously arrested on April 4.
Nearby homes were evacuated as a precaution and road closures were put in place.
No injuries were reported and the fires were extinguished.
Reports of explosions are believed to be linked to gas cannisters on board the ambulances.
