From May 9 to 19, the French Institute of the United Kingdom goes beyond words to cross borders and genres and takes us on a literary journey through discussions, readings, live performances and screenings. The program is very rich with many moments that we recommend.
And among these, don’t miss ‘Marseille, Marcel and Co’ on Saturday May 11 at 3:30 p.m.
Discover the city and its inhabitants with Rémi Duchêne, author of “The Stopover of the Giants, Marseille and the Writers, 1830-1900”, through some of the most illustrious literary tributes to the rich Marseille heritage.
Come and attend dramatized readings by Candice Desmet Director of Act’in Theater and Briac Lemetais, one of the company’s actors, of the most emblematic texts by Marcel Pagnol and other great names in literature such as Albert Cohen and Colette.
Let yourself be guided and transported to the land of cicadas and the Canebière!
