Top-Class Cabaret Entertainment and Fine Dining
Looking for a glamorous night out, with the combination of top-class entertainment, immersive fine dining, and impeccable service in central London? Look no further – the London Cabaret Club has it all! Established in 2013 by Evelina Girling and Doni Fierro, the London Cabaret Club redefines entertainment by seamlessly merging upscale dining with innovative live cabaret performed by a host of critically acclaimed performers and West End stars with top-class choreography.
Through a series of dynamic shows, it honours the diverse heritage of British culture, intertwining inspiration from both its iconic past and dynamic present. Initially debuting as a pop-up at the Arts Club, the club’s success led to sold-out residencies at renowned venues like One Mayfair and The Collection in South Kensington. Its permanent home is now nestled within the 1920s architecture of The Bloomsbury Ballroom in Holborn. This elegant Art Deco building reflects the style and grandeur intrinsic to the London Cabaret Club experience.
There are packages to suit all pockets: from ‘Silver’, ‘Gold’, and ‘Diamond’, or a ‘Royal Diamond’ ticket. All packages include access to the after-party if you’re in the mood for a boogie! Be sure to get your glad rags on, as a night at the London Cabaret Club is the perfect occasion to dress to impress. It was wonderful to see everyone looking so glamorous, from romantic couples to groups of friends enjoying the celebratory atmosphere.
As ‘Diamond’ guests, we were treated to a luxurious experience from the moment we arrived, our ‘Diamond’ status included a glass of Kir Royale and delectable canapés, along with access to the VIP area for the pre-show entertainment, kicking off the evening with soulful jazz vocalists and a captivating tap dance performance.
Afterwards, we moved into the Ballroom which features a central stage. Regardless of where you’re seated, the view is superb, ensuring you feel fully immersed in the evening’s entertainment, which on this occasion was their current show ‘Roxie Rocks Chicago,’.
This captivating production revolves around Roxie Hart, a chorus girl yearning for stardom as a renowned showgirl. Her relentless pursuit of fame fuels vibrant dreams that unfold throughout the performance. Inspired by the iconic movie Chicago, the show delivers a spectacular series of song and dance numbers, transporting the audience to the vibrant era of the Roaring Twenties. Additionally, awe-inspiring aerial artists add to the spectacle.
Here you are served an excellent 3-course dinner with a bottle of wine to share, by charming and attentive staff. We started with luxurious Brioche Lobster Rolls with caviar and fennel, followed by perfectly cooked Cornish Cod, accompanied by grilled mussels, seaweed, cep, and caviar. Finally, we enjoyed a sweet indulgence of White Chocolate & Banana Mousse. Later in the evening, we were treated to a funky-themed cocktail.
The extravagant costumes were absolutely fabulous, leaving no glitz spared. As a big fan of cabaret, I assure you that you won’t be disappointed with the high-calibre song and dance routines, many of which are straight out of the Chicago songbook and beautifully choreographed.
The show boasts a host of talented performers, all of whom deserve a mention. Lorna Marshall’s soaring vocals were a standout, along with the breathtaking aerial artistry of Tatiana Ozhiganova and Britain’s Got Talent finalists, 23 – Duo Odyssey.
