Married at first sight season 18 star Michelle Tombin seems to enjoy putting her partner David Trimble down and her antics are outrageous, but maybe Emem Obot is the bigger diva. To find out who is making more appearances this season, it’s time to compare their misdeeds. While no reality TV show is complete without some drama, sometimes MAFS celebs go too far. This season, Michelle and Emem may have crossed the lineleaving their partners wondering why they bothered signing up for the show.
Married at first sight season 18 has been a wild ride so far as the experts have really outdone themselves. Dr. Pepper Schwartz, Dr. Pia Holec and Rev. Cal Roberson are once again put together insane matches.
They would be better off using zodiac signs to match couples or pulling names out of a hat.
Right now, their top-secret algorithm for matching the two looks more like a formula secretly designed to guarantee the most intense level of heartbreak and humiliation. During the season, only 12 couples are still together. Michelle and David and Emem and Ikechi Ojuré may divorce. While the pundits deserve blame, so do the cast, including Michelle and Emem.
Michelle keeps trying to change her “Mama’s Boy” partner
Nothing he does is ever good enough
David lives at home with his mother and this “insult” has not gone unnoticed. After their trip to the altar, Michelle hastily started her new “forever” match, calling him mama’s boy. Do men who love their mothers have traits that make them great partners? Usually, but Michelle doesn’t care. His words and actions are cruel. As for Michelle, she might as well have “loser” tattooed on her forehead.
In his opinion, a grown man has no excuse to live with his mother. He clearly wants a partner with more money and ambition. In fact, it seems Michelle doesn’t see many (if any) good qualities in the man she mockingly calls:
mother’s boy
He’s probably already sensitive about being with his parents, even though he’s helping them run the business they own. So when she pours salt into the wound, she reveals herself as a true diva. What could be worse than a partner who pokes at a person’s every problem and only makes them feel worse? Not much.
David should run for the hills. This isn’t getting any better. If with the first color of “romance” he is already produces a psychological equivalent to the blows of the bodyit does not bode well. Michelle is proud and doesn’t have much respect for her “husband”.
Emem Is Such A Fiery Woman
She might be too much for his gentle partner
Emem really loses it, and while it’s easy to be in awe of a woman so tough that she erupts with complete abandon, her tantrums often destroy the landscape and render it uninhabitable. He’s an H-bomb that explodes, causing the kind of catastrophic damage that can’t be repaired anytime soon, or ever.
So when she mocked her new husband for ignoring her messages, a blistering tirade that included her harsh language. “joker suit” it felt like the final nail in the coffin.
Yes, there are spoilers, but they are not certain, and right now, no one knows for sure if Emem and Ikechi will make it work. However, based on their terrible dynamic, there is so little hope. Marrying a stranger has the novelty of it, but it’s truly an emotional minefield. When couples try to be spouses to people they don’t know at all, it’s all too easy to put a foot wrong.
Michelle is way too harsh
He is arrogant sometimes
Michelle ends up being the bigger diva who criticizes her husband’s every move and even abandons his eating habits. Lifelong clip shown above. He has less reason to emotionally abuse his spouse. Even though David isn’t perfect, a woman like Michelle needn’t be discouraged because her ego is clearly big. Ememi has more reasons for her outbursts as Ikechi has already made her feel like she will never be the delicious being she wants.
What a hot mess. This is drama. As Married at first sight season 18 continues, it’s safe to say that these two couples will face more turbulence. They are probably meant to crash and burn. However, it may be for the best.
Marrived at first glance airs Tuesdays at 8pm EST on Lifetime.
