If you always find yourself looking after the pennies and the pounds, there’s a spectacular annual scheme in London that grants kids free access to some of the best West End theatre productions. Kids Week 2025 offers free theatre tickets to under-17s for a spectacular array of shows, usually boasting around fifty productions to choose from.

Although the shows participating in this year’s iteration haven’t been announced yet, Kids Week is set to run throughout the summer holidays with tickets available to purchase on Tuesday, 10 June, for select performances from 21 July to 31 August 2025.

Kid’s Week 2025

As the longest-running initiative of its kind, Kids Week has welcomed over 2.5 million young people and their families to experience the magic of live theatre for over 25 years. This summer, children can see some of London’s best theatre shows for free when accompanied by a full-paying adult.

Even better, up to two additional children’s tickets can be purchased at half price, with no booking fees attached—making this incredible deal the perfect summer treat for families on the hunt for some world-class theatre that doesn’t break the bank.

Whether you’re after a blockbuster musical, a family-friendly play, or a laugh-out-loud comedy, there’s always something for everyone. Many shows will also host special activity specials or interactive curtain calls during Kids Week, giving young theatre goers a chance to get even close to the action.

What theatre shows are participating in Kid’s Week?

The official list of participating shows for 2025 will be announced very soon. In previous years, Kids Week has always featured a dazzling line-up of West End hits including The Lion King, Matilda, Back To The Future, Mamma Mia!, and so many more!

We promise to keep you in the loop as the theatre shows are announced. Alternitively, you could visit their official website to be first in-the-know.

How do I claim the free tickets for my kids?

Any child aged 17 or under can go to selected performances of any participating show for free if they’re accompanied by a full-paying adult. Adults can also buy up to two extra children’s tickets at half-price if you have got a larger family, and there are no booking fees.

Tickets go on sale at 10am on Tuesday, 10 June and the deal runs for a week (although subject to availability)so be sure to set the alarm, get up on time and snag those tickets for your favourite shows. To book your tickets and check availability, click here to visit the Kid’s Week website.
