Air fryers have taken the cooking world by storm as an energy efficient, easy and quick way to cook delicious meals. Even celebrity chef Gino D’Acampo is getting a taste of the air fryer action with his brand new cookbook – Gino’s Air Fryer Cookbook: Italian Classics Made Easy. Described as the ‘ultimate Italian air fryer cookbook’, the title will be released October 24, 2024, but home chefs who can’t wait to tuck in are saving money by pre-ordering it at Amazon now.
The typical retail price for Gino’s air fryer cookbook is £22, however it has been reduced to £16.99 at Amazon. The same discount applies at Waterstones. Packed with 80 Italian recipes reinvented by Gino D’Acampo for the air fryer, each mouthwatering recipe is accompanied by full-colour pictures. Many of the recipes can be whipped up in 20 minutes making them ideal for mid-week meals, plus there are chapters on cooking for the family and date night.
Home chefs can dine on delicious meals including Devilled Chicken Wings with Smoked Paprika and Honey, Carbonara Potatoes, Roasted Pumpkin Lasagne and Crispy-Crackling Pork Loin in Milk and Sage. There are also Italian pasta dishes such as Gnocchi in Pancetta, Tomato and Parmesan Sauce, Baked Pasta with Sausages, Garlic, Rosemary and Mozzarella, as well as sweet treat ‘perfect’ Air Fryer Chocolate Fondants.

Gino has said that the Book will not only ‘save on time and money’ but you won’t be left with tons of washing up to do. He has also praised air fryers, commenting: “I just love air fryers. They’re simple to use, efficient and environmentally friendly. They make your life easier in the kitchen while still enabling you to create fantastic food for your friends and family. The best thing of all is that Italian food cooks beautifully in the air fryer, which means a very happy Gino!”
While Gino’s cookbook is yet to receive any reviews, fans have taken to social media to share how excited they are. One person said that they have already pre-ordered and are ‘so happy to see this’. Another wrote ‘need this in my life’ and ‘getting this definitely’. It was also noted by someone else that ‘it’s good for a Christmas gift’ so it may be worth pre-ordering now to save you time and money later on in the year. However, not everyone is keen and someone said that they ‘cannot cope with chefs doing air fryer recipes’.
Gino’s cookbook announcement has convinced people who are yet to get their hands on an air fryer to take the plunge. One person said ‘I need to buy an air fryer now’. If you don’t have an air fryer, the Ninja Speedi 10-in-1 Air Fryer has been reduced to £129 down from £229.99 at Amazon. For a larger air fryer, shoppers can save £70 off the Ninja Foodi Dual Air Fryer 7.6L at Lakeland where it is on sale for £149.99.
Other popular air fryer cookbooks include The Actually Delicious Air Fryer Cookbook by Poppy O’Toole. The chef who appeared on Jamie Oliver’s Channel 4 show Jamie’s Air Fryer Meals, has released a book with more than 100 recipes. It’s currently £10 in a half price sale at Amazon. The Pinch of Nom Air Fryer: Easy Slimming Meals is also in the half price sale for £10.
