‘I’ve got a text’ is a phrase all ITV Love Island fans will be well aware of, especially if you’ve been watching the new season 11 every night in the week. Anyone who fancies the exact same Google Pixel phone used by the contestants in sunny Mallorca can find a bombshell price drop.

Vodafone has just walked into the season of sales with a huge price drop on the Pixel 8 Pro, Googe’s flagship phone and the same device used in the villa to send firepit, secret dates, and challenge updates. And now it’s dropped to one of the cheapest price yet, with more than £700 cut off the price.

Google shoppers can now pay £28 a month for the 6.7-inch display device, which is cut in price thanks to its £576 airtime savings plan. Ontop of this the provider has added in an extra money-saving deal offering another £180 in savings with its free Pixel Watch or Pixel Buds Pro handout – bringing the total savings to a huge £756.

And the glory of this deal, probably the main reason why our tech team has picked it, is the savings amount doesn’t differ no matter which amount of data you pick in the contract. Google shoppers can opt for its cheaper £28 per month contract with 8GB of inclusive data or go for its 50GB or Unlimited data plans and save the exact same amount.

It’s Unlimited data deal costs £41 per month, and has an initial upfront cost of £50. As well as the unlimited data usage, users will also get unlimited minutes and texts included with the 36-month device plan.

Shoppers may also be temped by the free handout in this deal, a common deal offered with many tech deals Vodafone will also give all Pixel 8 Pro shoppers the choice of a free Google Pixel Watch 1 or a pair of Pixel Buds Pro. However, it’s not the only retailer offering the deal.

Online provider Mobiles.co.uk has launched it on their site too, and it’s available in a rival iD Mobile contract. In last night’s (Sunday, June 5) tension between villa besties Sam and Harriett appeared quite tense, and the same could be said as Vodafone and iD Mobile go up against each other.

The iD Mobile contract offers the Pixel 8 Pro device and 100GB of data for £24.99 per month, on a fixed 24-month plan. Apple fans can also find savings this month over at O2, with its £335 saving on the iPhone 15 Pro. Love Island fans can tune into episodes each night at 9pm BST and those looking to watch outside of the UK can make the most of a VPN, to ensure they don’t miss a moment of the drama.
