What to do at Christmas in London?
December 10th, · 2 Comments
It’s probably the most magical time to discover London. Christmas. The magic of decorations, everything is Xmas, even XXLmas, so much so that the English play the Merry Christmas game.
Take advantage of the Christmas holidays to (re)discover the city. The only constraint is that you will have to let go to find your child’s soul, your new and mischievous eyes… be ready to be amazed and it will be, alone, as a couple, with family, or between friends, a real happiness.
Some classics tested and approved by the community.
– Go see a Musical
– Continue with a drink/dinner near Covent Garden
– Stroll through an Xmas Market (the one in Chelsea is great)
– A little exercise and fun with an ice skating session at the Natural History Museum or Summerset House (Reservations recommended)
– Dinner in a pub by a fireplace (See the Queen’s Head in Primrose Hill, the Spanniards Inn in Hampstead, the Black Lion in Hammersmith…)
– Midnight mass in a pretty church like St Bertholomew in Smithfield
– To let the air of the city carry you in search of pop-up shops filled exclusively with Christmas decorations
– Walk through the center to the sounds of Xmas Carols choirs.
Ideas that would be nothing without two other tips which are the basis of a wonderful stay in London: take the time and love yourself.
