The event takes place at the Arena Berlin and brings together more than 65 galleries from about 18 countries, where thousands of contemporary artworks are displayed. Many pieces are priced at less than €500 and their prices are clearly marked, making it easy for visitors to find affordable options. In general, prices range between about 100 euros and 10,000 euros.

Organizers say the fair plays an important role in reducing both financial and cultural barriers, making it easier for first-time buyers to enter the art market in one of Europe’s most prominent creative capitals.
Launched in London in 1999, the Affordable Art Fair expanded to Berlin in 2024, and has since become a fixture on the international calendar alongside cities such as Hamburg, Amsterdam and London. In Berlin, visitors can also participate in guided tours, seminars, and late-night art evenings in addition to the main exhibition.
By bringing together emerging artists and established names, the exhibition highlights Berlin’s position as a vibrant center for contemporary art.
Demand is expected to increase over the four days until April 19, with tens of thousands of visitors being received at the Arena Berlin, which confirms the strong demand for available cultural events and opportunities to acquire works of art at more affordable prices in Germany.
