The Crown Chiswick is a relaxed pub and restaurant housed inside a former police station, which serves a British/Mediterranean menu. The pub also doubles as a venue for hire, able to accommodate everything from business lunches to birthday dinners.
The Crown’s most intimate space is The Nick, which sees two former prison cells transformed into a cosy private dining room. Well suited to meetings and small gatherings, the space features chic wallpaper, high-back chairs and plenty of natural light thanks to two large windows. The Nick can accommodate up to 10 seated guests or 15 standing.
The second space at The Crown is The Green Room, which is found towards the back of the venue and is separated from the rest of the pub via a curtain. The Green Room can welcome up to 26 guests for a sit-down meal or up to 50 for a standing reception, while additional benefits include a private toilet and bar and direct access to a charming courtyard, an ideal spot for pre- or post-meal drinks.
In fact, the courtyard can be hired as its own dedicated space. A cosy, rustic-chic space, the courtyard is found at the back of the pub and boasts a ‘secret garden’ feel. While summer get-togethers seem the obvious choice, the courtyard is also primed for winter gatherings, thanks to heaters and a waterproof canopy. There is also an outside bar, plus colour changing lighting to help set the mood. The courtyard can welcome up to 80 seated guests or 120 standing.
The Crown’s final and largest indoor space is its main dining room, which can welcome groups of 70 seated or up to 120 standing. The space is flooded with natural light from the neighbouring courtyard, while in fine weather, bi-fold doors fully open to combine the dining room and courtyard.
