From the beginning of the season, Ben stirred up the drama between Cat Baugh and Barbie Pascual by telling Barbie that Cat complained about him. His interest in drama didn’t stop there because she continued to spread gossip and get involved in dramaeven going to Captain Kerry Titheradge to complain about Jared Woodin and his role as Bosun.
As for his treatment of Sunny this season, that’s clear Ben isn’t getting any new female fans. More than once, Ben has been found flirting with other crew members who weren’t Sunny. On one such occasion, she called him flirtatious and overly sensitive when new stew Paris Field arrived Saint David. However, this did not change anything, as the Australian Bosun also continued to flirt with another stew Xandi Olivieri.

Ben’s behavior towards Sunny has been disrespectful and is an embarrassing display of how he seems to treat women. His indifference to her feelings went further after he called Camille Lamb to express his desire to meet her Below decks season 11 ends. This was after he admitted to Sunny that he still had some lingering feelings for Camille, while enjoying their boating.
While all the signs are floating above Ben’s head, Sunny is determined to ignore every red flag. She lets her feelings and chemistry with Ben take precedence over her treatment, and viewers see that firsthand. Hopefully, Sunny and Ben will work things out with each other by the end of the season and communicate this effectively.
