UberEats is set to offer the “cheapest two Michelin star deal ever” after teaming up with a top chef. Executive Chef Jeremy Chan at two Michelin star Ikoyi has developed a 5-course delivery menu for two days only.
The move marks Ikoyi’s first foray into the world of delivery, with dishes developed for Uber Eats and taking inspiration from takeaways with a twist of Ikoyi flavours. On the menu is a green slaw and crispy fried chicken with Scottish hood and raspberry salt. Additionally, and for the first time outside of the restaurant, customers will be able to enjoy Ikoyi’s take on Jollof Rice in the comfort of their own home.
The Uber Eats Hosts Ikoyi menu will cost £60. Ikoyi is the latest restaurant to join the Uber Eats Hosts series, which brings the world’s most famous restaurants along with new and exciting dining experiences to your home.
Matthew Price, General Manager UK, Ireland and Northern Europe at Uber Eats said: “ We created our Uber Eats Hosts series to bring our customers some of the country’s best, and often hard to find, restaurants. Following the success of Ynyshir, we are so excited to bring Ikoyi on board for the next step in our series. This menu is truly incredible and this will be the only chance to taste it!”
Jeremy and the Ikoyi team will be cooking up the menu for Uber Eats customers in central London on the 10th for Uber One members and on the 11th May for everyone between The drink pairing is available as an option, priced at £25.
