Roblox sees around 70 million daily users (via DemandSage), making it by far the largest game (or platform) in the world in terms of daily/monthly users. Because of this, the resulting jokes and funny moments have a great chance of becoming international phenomena, as many already have.

The origin of this meme goes back to a series of server outages that plagued Roblox beginning in October 2021, when the entire site was shut down for maintenance for the first time in several years.
With players being forced off the online platform, October 2021 will forever stand out as a particular pain point for the community (albeit one that can now be laughed at), and is often mentioned as a joke associated with any kind of personal strife, trauma, or suffering.

Even fans who have never played Roblox themselves probably recognize Roblox Man Face meme.
This particular meme has appeared in many funny images online, taking on a particularly dodgy looking cosmetic face that can be used Roblox characters in the game.
The Roblox Man Face’s half-smile and almost dreamlike eyes have been used in various photo edits and videos, and have also become part of Roblox Chicken Nugget/Gegagedgedagedago memes featuring a face on top of a chicken nugget singing “Cotton Eye Joe” by Rednex.
Bobux
Bobux is one of the few Robux ( Roblox-based online currency) memes that have emerged from the game.
The term Bobux is used in memes to refer to the in-game currency, usually when you don’t have any money or have too much.
Its origins can be traced back to a Discord conversation in 2020 where a user known as ImmaSimp used the word for the first time. From there, it quickly gained steam and became a mainstay Roblox community.

Robux scams (where people inauthentically advertise ways to get in-game currency) have become more common Roblox and because of this they have started to live their own lives as memes.
These memes are used as a joke to those who fall for viral Robux scams online and their usual gullibility.
Usually fans notice the Robux meme when these funny pictures mention it “Free Robux” or authorities take people to task for promoting fake ways to get currency.
Pose 28 in Dressing to Impress
One of the most popular Roblox mini-games that have become popular in recent years Dress to impress. And so, of course, fans have grabbed a piece of this extremely popular Roblox a creation known as “Pose 28”.
In the online modeling simulator, players choose outfits and pose on the runway. “Pose 28” is a special move that can be used when donning the stuff and sees the in-game avatar hilariously holding his hands behind his back and thrusting his hips forward.
Because of the weird and uniquely funny nature of the movement, it has exploded online (mostly on TikTok), appearing in many videos both in and out of the game.

Gamers around the world recalled the release to the moon and back mostly because they want/needed to apply, rather than because of the local cost of living crisis/rising unemployment.

This is confusing for those who have never ventured Robloxn polygonal worlds, but for fans of the game, it’s big.
The Despacito Spider meme comes from a character that appears Roblox Robloxian High School mini game. He’s a strange pill-shaped creature with eight spider legs and a name inspired by the hugely popular (and meme-like) Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee song “Despacito.”
With his friendly yet terrifying appearance, the Despacito Spider is among the nightmares Roblox fandom usually depicted as an inexplicable horror-tinged presence in images and videos.
Do you have a fool
Like any online community Roblox seems to have developed its own language. The community uses these turns of phrase to communicate different thoughts and feelings both in-game and outside of the game.
The most important thing about these special languages is, “Are you stupid.” This gibberish is often used as a reaction to something ridiculous and can be seen populating chatboxes across the board Roblox chassis.
The Do You Are Have Stupid mems dates back to a June 2018 Reddit post where a user posted a photo Roblox the character uses the phrase in-game and makes a joke about what exactly they were trying to say.
Roblox is banned in Turkey
Like some of the other memes on this list, this one was born out of some directly surrounding headline Roblox and its ever popular community.
August 7, 2024 Roblox was banned in Turkey due to child abuse. News of its ban in the European nation spread like wildfire Roblox a faithful one that eventually becomes a meme, like so many other moments before it.
The meme itself stems from extreme reactions to this news, including fans who are incredibly sad/devastated/heartbroken to learn that they are now banned from playing the game in the country.
