This Christmas, Mallow, the trailblazing plant-based restaurant from the team behind Mildreds, is revolutionising festive dining with a bold and inventive Yuletide Sharing Menu.

Designed by acclaimed vegan chef and creative visionary Sarah Wasserman, the menu blends cutting-edge culinary techniques with the rich traditions of holiday flavours, offering an unparalleled gastronomic experience.

Running from 20 November to 24 December 2024, Mallow’s five-course tasting menu is a celebration of seasonal ingredients, masterful technique, and sustainable dining. Priced at £55 per person or £78 with wine pairing, the menu features inventive dishes that push the boundaries of plant-based cuisine.

The menu features Parsnip Dill Waffle, paired with horseradish cream, carrot ribbons, and caraway pickle caviar for a playful twist on festive starters. Beetroot Velouté, a silky soup reimagining traditional borscht with vibrant colour and bold flavour.

Charcoal Brioche, a homemade creation served with caramelised onion butter. Truffled Mushroom Terrine, a sophisticated centrepiece featuring mustard cream, sweet potato purée, braised shallots, and Roman artichokes, complemented by seasonal sides.

There’s also decadent desserts like Snowcherry Compote,

an indulgent combination of cherry, chocolate ganache, and white chocolate cream.

Every dish showcases Mallow’s dedication to creativity, quality, and sustainable sourcing, proving that plant-based dining can rival—and surpass—traditional holiday fare.

Guests who book before 30 November will be treated to a complimentary glass of bubbles, making their celebrations even more special. For larger gatherings, Mallow’s Canary Wharf location offers a stunning private dining room that seats up to 50 guests, perfect for corporate events or private parties. It also has a heated terrace!

Meanwhile, Mallow’s Borough Market restaurant brings the festive spirit to life, nestled in one of London’s most iconic culinary destinations and beautifully adorned for the season.

With over 26 years of experience in plant-based cuisine, Sarah Wasserman is celebrated for her boundary-pushing approach to vegan food.

From elevated flavour combinations to intricate plating, Wasserman’s culinary creations reflect her deep passion for sustainability and innovation.

Food and Creative Director, Sarah, said: “This isn’t just a Christmas menu—it’s a celebration of how far plant-based dining has come.

“We’ve taken traditional festive flavours and reimagined them with modern techniques and vibrant ingredients. It’s about showing that plant-based food is the future of fine dining.”

In addition to her role at Mallow, Wasserman is the author of Mildreds Easy Vegan, a bestselling cookbook filled with inspiring recipes that bring the magic of plant-based cuisine into the home.

Since opening in Borough Market in 2021, Mallow has established itself as London’s leader in cutting-edge plant-based dining. Every element of Mallow’s concept—from its innovative menu to its locally sourced ingredients—reflects a commitment to sustainability and creativity. With a second location now open in Canary Wharf, Mallow continues to redefine the possibilities of vegan cuisine, offering vibrant dishes that are as beautiful as they are delicious.
