Unbroken Is an American war film 2014 written by Coen Brothers, Richard Lagravenese and William Nicholson. It is based on Laura Hillenbrand’s Nonfiction Book Unbroken: A World War II Story of Survival, Resilience and Redemption, published in 2010. The film follows the story of Louis Zamperini, an Olympic athlete included in the military during the Second World War. After an air accident in the Pacific, he was arrested by the Japanese Navy. Louie must continue his battle by surviving the conflict when he is held caught.

From October 2013 to February 2014, filming owned in Australia. Unbroken had its world premiere in Sydney on November 17, 2014 and its premiere in London on November 26, 2014 at Odeon Leicester Square. It was a financial success and earned $ 163 million in the world. Unbroken: Path to Redemption, a sequel to the film, was released in 2018.
