ShirakawagoAn old village, is well known for its snow -white wonder in winter, but it also draws travelers in the fall for their lively red and yellow forests. The village’s rows with closely separated wooden homes have Gassho-Zukuri architecture, and the sloping roof is straw with grass to resemble bean hands. The roof is made to endure Shirakawago’s difficult winters and heavy snowfall. Shirakawago, a historic village in Gifu, Japan, is well known for its beautiful golden autumn landscape, which also makes people swing.

Shirakawago Village is very beautiful in the fall, so come here if you want to see everything. The lake’s surface is blue in the shade of red foliage, the old houses are clearly visible, and the road is covered by fallen leaves when there is no snow. Tourists are drawn to the village because of its history in addition to the fantastic natural surroundings. The houses are still in good condition even though the village was founded about 300 years ago. Shirakawago Village currently contains about 100 homes. More than 20 historic wooden houses have been carefully preserved and maintained how things were before.

Place: Gifu City, Japan
