Tom Kerridge has announced a new appointment at Kerridge’s Bar & Grill, his London restaurant located in the prestigious Corinthia London area.
Tom Childs, previously the restaurant’s Sous Chef, takes on the role of head chef when Nick Beardshaw leaves to set up his own restaurant. Nick has worked with Tom Kerridge for 14 years, serving as head chef at Kerridge’s Bar & Grill since it opened in 2018 and achieving considerable success on the Great British Menu.
Tom Childs has worked at Kerridge’s Bar & Grill for five years, bringing with him an impressive background that includes roles as Paul Ainsworth at No 6, Heston Blumenthal’s Dinner and formerly at Hedone Chiswick.
Tom Kerridge said: “Nick’s departure has presented Tom Childs with the opportunity to step into the role of head chef, which he is more than ready for. We have been working on a completely new menu which will be launched this month. Tom has created a range of exceptional new dishes, both of which retain the Kerridge’s ‘DNA ” and fully incorporate the best of British seasonal ingredients into classic cooking. I know it will be a big hit.”
