A tiny personal blender has been discounted on Amazon and is receiving rave reviews. The Philips Daily Collection Mini Blender and Smoothie Maker was originally £49.99, but now costs £29.99.

You can also get it for £30.59 at Philips and £45 at Asda. The bender is billed as “mini in size, mighty in power”. It comes with two speed settings and a compact design.

The one-litre jug can make smoothies and milkshakes, as well as soups and dips. It’s also strong enough to crush hard ingredients and ice.

The blender has 4.4 stars from 597 reviews. One person said ” This is honestly the best thing I’ve bought in a long while. No complaints at all. It’s even better than I thought it would be. It’s easy to use, easy to clean, it doesn’t take up much counter space if you have a small kitchen.

“My shakes take less than 20 seconds to mix and I’m really excited about trying to use it to make smoothies. I was struggling to mix my shakes with a mixer cup because I have fibromyalgia but thanks to this little beauty I’ve solved that issue and been able to stay on my new healthy diet without a hitch. Really impressed by the price too.

“At £29.99 it definitely does not break the bank and I’m a glad I didn’t save up and pay extra for a Nutribullet because this meets my needs at a fraction of the price. I’m really glad I gave it a chance as I wasn’t expecting much due to the price so it was a lovely surprise!”

Another wrote “Very easy to use, love the strong suction pads to stop it moving when using. Very easy to take apart to clean, perfect that it is dishwasher safe. I use this twice a day. Highly recommend.”

“We use this daily to make smoothies,” a third wrote. “I use frozen fruit, and it deals with it like a boss. Can’t recommend it enough.” Of the negative reviews, one person said “Was quite happy with this little blender until it started leaking badly. Upon inspection the plastic jug had fractured along the welds on both sides. Lasted less than four months with occasional light use.”

Alternatively, you can try the Nutribullet 600 Series Nutritional Blender 651/9090, which is £60 in Argos. It’s got an impressive 4.8 stars from 1,168 reviews.

You can buy the Philips Daily Collection Mini Blender and Smoothie Maker from Amazon, Philips and Asda. Get the Nutribullet 600 Series Nutritional Blender 651/9090 from Argos.
