Between the Bridges has proved to be a true favourite multi-purpose venue for Londoners to swig pints and have a dance by the river, whatever the weather. It’s well into its usual festive frivolities for the end-of-year fun, but they’ve just announced the sad news that they’ll be closing their doors in 2026.
After holding their final few events, Between the Bridges will be shutting before 2025 is outas work begins on Jubilee Gardens, meaning we won’t be treated to their glorious riverside beer garden revelry in the summer, or their full festive calendar a year from now.

All is not lost, however, as the venue has said that it won’t be a permanent move, and that Between the Bridges will return at some point after 2026. For now, though, it’s time to enjoy the final stretch of time we have at the South Bank venue, and raise a warming mug of wine at their last parties (at least for a little while).
What’s happening at Between the Bridges for the rest of 2025?
They’re now into their final three weeks, and Between the Bridges will be hosting several events to mark the occasion, culminating with a final closing party on Monday, December 22. Prior to this, you can enjoy the return of Electric Winter each day, which returns for its fifth year and, with all areas suitably heated, you can enjoy toasty evenings with mulled wine or pints when you head over to the riverside for their events.
Succor, Ogrepalooza, Drag Brunch, Guilty Pleasure, Hot To Ho Ho Hoand more will be taking over the closing parties, with DJs spinning out the bangers for the remainder of the festive season. If you make it over, you can wave goodbye in style, and then watch out for more news on the space come 2027.
