Although we’re still patiently waiting for Halloween, London is already gearing up for a magical festive season – and nothing solidifies this more than the return of the much-loved Fire and Fromage pop-up by Jimmy Garcia on the South Bank. So, get ready to whip out that Big Coat™ and get into the spirit of the season with some well-earned joy that’s both merry and bright!
This Alpine-inspired, Thames-side experience will be the ultimate spot for some festive indulgence during the colder months, with unlimited raclette, winter cocktails, campfires, and beyond.
A winter wonderland on the South Bank
From mulled wine and twinkling lights to spiked hot chocolate and marshmallows over the campfire, this pop-up has all the ingredients to transport you and your tastebuds to the snowy slopes of the Alps without leaving London.
Picture yourself nestled by a crackling fire pit with raclette waiting to ooze over some potatoes and charcuterie, or roasting some marshmallows with some friends over a hot beverage! It’s truly a must-visit festive experience in the capital at Christmas.
Of course, the star winter warmer at the pop-up is undeniably the Raclette Bar, where unlimited cheese flows freely for £35 per person. If you’re feeling fancy, you can hire out a heated igloo with a luxe set meal to boot. There’s even a whole cabana (for up to 30 people) if you’re looking for a very cheesy Christmas lunch or party with a larger group.
However, on top of all of that, there will also be a fabulous street food menu available all day if you’re looking for some more budget-friendly options. When it comes to eating at the Raqluette Bar or igloos, booking is essential.
