The fan-favourite BOX group of sports bars is winging its way to London this week, opening an enormous new venue right in the heart of the West End. And they’re inviting Londoners in for a taste of what’s to come with an opening party – where they’ll be giving away hundreds of free beers and pizzas.
To celebrate the opening of what they’re calling “London’s biggest sports bar”, they’re going suitable outsize with an impressive giveaway. On October 29they’ll be handing out 400 free pints and 400 free slices of Neapolitan-style pizza. Honestly, does it get better than free pizza and beer?
BOX Piccadilly is the latest opening from the BOX group, which already boasts fan-favourite sports bars in the likes of Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Nottingham and Sheffield. Spread across three floors, the venue will feature a whopping 33 screens (so you don’t miss a second of the action). Guests can also enjoy activities ranging from shuffleboard to darts and even full band karaoke.
How to get free beers and pizzas
The beer and pizza giveaway will kick off at 5:30pm on Wednesday, October 29.
It’s first-come, first-served, so be sure not to turn up too late. You don’t have to do anything special to get your hands on the free food and drink. As long as you’re among the first 400 to arrive, you’ll be grinning with a pint of Budvar and a slice of ‘za. The pizza flavours include classic Margherita, Double Pepperoni and Karaage Chicken (with the option to make it vegan by substituting chicken with Quorn pieces).
