Haryanvi singer Masoom Sharma recently met famous storyteller Aniruddhacharya Maharaj. A special dialogue was seen between the two on Indian culture, faith and life values. During this, Aniruddha Maharaj, while answering a question, made serious comments on the food habits and lifestyle of western culture. Aniruddhacharya Maharaj himself has uploaded the video of this dialogue on his official Instagram account.
Amidst the huge number of devotees in the court of Aniruddhacharya Maharaj, Masoom Sharma asked – ‘I told my son about the virtues and vices of sin and said that eating meat is wrong. But when I visited Europe, I saw that such things were not told to the children there. So will those children feel guilty or not? Is it his fault or not?
Answering this question, Aniruddhacharya Maharaj said- ‘There is no culture and values in foreign countries. Sanskar exists only in India. Eating meat should not be compared with the world. Actually, lion and dog also eat meat and this is their instinct.
Aniruddhacharya Maharaj further said that there were already no food options in countries like America and London. Look at their 100 years old history. Therefore, eating meat became a tradition there. If someone was given satvik food from the beginning, he would have included it in his tradition.
‘If we have 56 pleasures then why eat meat’
Aniruddhacharya Maharaj said that there are facilities for food and drink in India. The world’s only food option is pigs. He already had no options. That’s why he kept eating meat. If we have 56 pleasures as an option then why should we eat meat? In this matter we should never think like others. Our Ram, Krishna and great men did not eat meat. Therefore, we should also follow their path.
‘In America people marry four times’
After this, Aniruddhacharya Maharaj further said that in America people marry four times. Live in live-in relationship without getting married. But the culture there cannot come here. In our country, living together without marriage is not considered good.
