Q tried to end the game
He blinded his entire tribe
Survivor 46 Episode 8 was like any other episode Survivor until Q brought down the entire game when he asked for a vote during tribal council. The moment was completely unexpected, as Q had seemed to dominate the game until then. Nothing had happened to suggest that he was considering leaving.
”
I won’t give up. Trust me, I want to play and I have since day one.”
It’s hard to say why Q wanted to end the game because his explanation was unclear. “I’m not giving up. Trust me, I want to play and I’ve been playing since day one.” Q told the tribe and host Jeff Probst. “But again, when something doesn’t sit right with me and I feel partially responsible for it, I have to accept it and say, ‘You know what? I’m not going to steal anyone else’s joy and dream…“, Q added. The tribe didn’t do what Q asked and voted for Tevin Davis instead.
It remains a mystery what happened in the game that didn’t suit Q.
Q has quit during the game
Q stands for “quitter”
Q has shown a surrender pattern all season. During its premiere Survivors 46, Q and eliminated player David Jelinksy finished the Yanu sweat mission. In his exit interview later in episode 1, Jelinski claimed that giving up the mission was Q’s idea. Then on Day 10, when fellow contestant Kenzie Petty commented on how neither of them would ever quit, Q replied:I might. It won’t give up. It accepts it.”
This wasn’t even the first time Q asked to be voted off
Survivor
46.
After losing the challenge at some point, Q asked the tribe to vote him out, but they refused. Even during episode 8, Q was the first player who wanted to throw a challenge in exchange for rice. The switch may have been a smarter strategy, but it still serves as another example of Q being willing to give up when the going gets tough.
”
I really don’t think Q was trying to quit the way Sean and Hannah did last season
.”
What Jeff Probst said about Q’s attempt to quit
“Q is a Riddle”
In an interview with Entertainment WeeklyJeff said:I really don’t think Q was trying to quit the way Sean and Hannah did last season.” He went on to say, “Q is a riddle. Therefore, one can only guess his motives for the movement of any game!“Since Jeff knows how the season will end, his statements could indicate that Q will be well on board Survivors 46.
Will Q win Survivor?
Unlikely
Although the winner Survivor 46 is unknown, it’s hard to see how Q wins the game. Q has repeatedly shown that he is ready to quit when the going is tough. During Episode 8, when there weren’t enough players willing to quit to earn rice, Q complained that the other players were delusional about their chances of surviving Hunter McKnight. “Think you can outlast Tarzan in the poll?“The comment illustrates well Q’s thinking. If Q can’t figure out how he can beat Hunter, Q might as well go home now.
