Due to phenomenal public demand, the Formula 1® Show at Excel London (Immerse LDN) is extending its residency until 2 March 2025.

Following the hugely successful exhibition opening on 23 August, motorsport fans now have more time to experience the past, present and future of Formula 1® in the heart of the capital.

Packed with extensive entries from F1®’s top teams and drivers, including Sir Lewis Hamilton’s 2018 championship-winning Mercedes AMG F1 W09 and Ayrton Senna’s 1988 McLaren MP4/4, the exhibition showcases some of the sport’s greatest stories.

It features the most cars seen at any of the previous F1® shows, including Lewis Hamilton’s iconic 2018 championship-winning Mercedes AMG F1 W09, Max Verstappen’s 2021 championship-winning RB16b, Ayrton Senna’s 1988 title-winning McLaren MP4/4, Mika1999s. World Driver’s Championship-winning McLaren MP4/14 and more.

In a European first, it also features state-of-the-art simulators, allowing fans to experience what it feels like to sit in an F1® car and a chance to win tickets to the 2025 British Grand Prix™.

So it’s no surprise that the Telegraph said ‘the immersive exhibition will entertain petrol heads and novices alike’, while the Mirror praised ‘the ingenuity behind the exhibition’s layout, soundscape and visual elements’ and Secret London hailed it as ‘a veritable spectacle of grit and glamour’.

Ua new perspective on an extraordinary story

The exhibition comes to life in six unique rooms, each specially commissioned for the show and produced in collaboration with award-winning curators, artists and filmmakers.

In the design lab, contributions from major teams such as Williams Racing and McLaren showcase the precision engineering of F1®.

The Drivers & Duels section highlights champions through interactive games, and Revolution by Design explores how technology is driving the future of F1®, with cars like Senna’s McLaren MP4/4.

Survival celebrates safety progress with the horrific remains of Romain Grosjean’s 2020 crash.

The exhibition culminates with the Pit Wall, an immersive finale celebrating 74 years of F1®’s remarkable heritage. It leaves fans in awe of the sport’s rich history and technological advancements.

“It’s a privilege to extend our run”

Timothy Harvey, Chief Curator and Producer of the Formula 1® Exhibition, said: “We are delighted with the popularity of the Formula 1 London Show and it is a privilege to extend our run at Excel.

“As we enter an exciting climax to the 2024 F1® season, we look forward to welcoming more fans over the off-season, Christmas and New Year to get their Formula 1® fix before all the on-track action starts again in 2025.”
