Netflix’s sixth season The Dragon Prince has been released with returning characters and cast.
Last season of the year The Dragon Prince ended with Callum, Rayla and Ezran managing to secure Aaravos’ eternal prison, but leaving friend-turned-foe Claudia with literally one less leg to stand on and her father on the brink of death.
In the latest season, titled “Book Six: Stars,” our band of heroes will find a way to end Aaravos’ threat to all of Xadia once and for all before he can be freed. Sacrifices are made, redemptions are sought, love is achieved and the world is left on a knife edge.
Every Actor and Character in The Dragon Prince Season 6
Jack DeSena – Prince Callum / Prince Azymondias
Jack DeSena once again voices both Prince Callum and Azymondia, although the titular dragon prince still can’t speak properly like his mother Zubei. As Callum tries to figure out a way to stop Aaravos once and for all, he struggles with his past use of dark magic and its harmful effects.
DeSena is best known for voicing fan favorite Sokka from the original Avatar: The Last Airbender series; he also serves as the voice of the main character Lego Monkie Kid.
Paula Burrow – Rayla / Opeli
Paula Burrow voices both Rayla, the leader, and Opel, one of Ezran’s advisors. Traveling with Callum to the ends of the earth to find a way to destroy Aaravos, Rayla ends up having to make an impossible choice with her parents.
Outside of Netflix’s flagship animated series, Burrow’s most notable role has been Paula in the web series The dangers of online dating.
Jesse Inocalla – Soren
Fan favorite Soren, voiced by Jesse Inocalla, who after betraying his father Viren became Ezran’s crown guard. This season, he is given the opportunity to confront his father about his past treatment, but the question is whether Soren will accept his father’s change of heart.
Inocalla has also offered voice work My Adventures with Superman such as The Brain.
Sasha Rozen – Ezra
Rounding out Team Zym will be Sasha Rojen’s Ezra, King of Catholics. As Ezran continues to promote peace in Xadia between humans and elves, another tragedy strikes at home that could change the course of his kingdom forever.
Rojen has played a younger Meghan Markle in a TV movie Harry and Meghan: A Royal Romance and an even younger Iris on the CW Flash.
Racquel Belmonte – Claudia
Unlike Soren, Racquel Belmonte’s Claudia had yet to see the light of day, which ended with Rayla cutting off her leg in last season’s finale. When Viren leaves her, swearing off dark magic, Claudia tries to do the same with the help and support of her boyfriend, Terry.
Belmonte has lent his impressive vocal talents to other cartoon series such as Monster Loving Maniacs and LEGO Chima.
Jason Simpson – Viren / Barius
Jason Simpson’s Viren seeks to atone for his crimes, whether it’s life in prison or execution. By the end of the season, Viren has made his choice and shown his son the man he really is.
Simpson has lent his talents to dozens of cartoon series and anime dubs, but his most famous work is voicing Rengar in the video game. League of Legends.
Benjamin Callins – Terry
Introduced last season as Claudia’s new boyfriend, Benjamin Callins’ Terry supports his girlfriend even though she fell into mania after being abandoned by her father and her body filled with dark magic. He’s Claudia’s only rock left, but she may still float away despite his best efforts.
Callins will also star in the upcoming indie animated series, Fabien Adames. My friend, Fabien!
Erik Dellums – Aaravos
Erik Dellums’ Aaravos gets more of a spotlight in season 6 when his backstory is finally revealed to the public. A master manipulator, once filled with love, driven by revenge on those who took that source of love.
Dellums’ most famous role is Bethesda radio host Three Dog Drop 3as well as recurring roles as various characters in EA Star Wars: The Old Republic.
Jonathan Holmes – Runa
Originally debuting in Season 1 alongside most of the original cast, Jonathan Holmes’ Runan literally disappeared in Viren’s hands. Season 6 is the first time Runaan returns properly outside of flashbacks, where Rayla has to make a terrible choice.
As a lesser television actress, Holmes has had roles 4400, Anne and Eand more.
Omari Newton – Crow
Originally tasked with tracking down and finding Callum and Ezran in season 1, Omari Newton’s Corvus soon became the younger royal’s bodyguard until eventually becoming a member of his crown guard.
Newton played Lucas Ingram in the sci-fi series ContinuityEnter Larry Summers Blue Mountain State, and offered the voice of Jefferson Smith Max Steel.
Rena Anakwe – Janai
Rena Anakwen Janai, who was initially a bitter rival with Amaya, soon fell in love with the deaf warrior from Katolisen. After preventing his brother Karim’s coup, he struggles to lead his people, but gets the right advice from his soon-to-be wife.
Anakwe has had several small roles in shows and movies while serving as the voice of Sapphire Shores My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.
Ethan Farrell – Cosmo
Sky Elf member Ethan Farrell’s Kosmo helps Callum and Rayla use their newly acquired powers of foresight. It remains to be seen whether his actions will ultimately help Xadia.
Farrell has appeared in shows such as The guy’s healing powers, Baby-Sitters Cluband Family law.
Sheila Ferguson – Amaya
Amaya was silent the whole time The Dragon Prince until she spoke for the first time last season, she was voiced by Sheila Ferguson, who is also deaf. Amaya is an anchor for his soon-to-be wife and helps support Ezran’s quest for peace, seeing her and Janai as an example of such peace.
Luc Roderique – Karim
On the run from his sister, Luc Roderique’s Karim manages to gather a small army of traitors and gain favor with the former king of dragons, Sol Regem. A war with her sister is inevitable, and with the Sol Regem involved, at least one kingdom is sure to return.
Roderique previously starred in the film Homeland: Fort Salem, Porter, Sirenand more.
Adrian Hough – Sol Regem
Adrian Hough’s Sol Regem decided to make it a world problem out of sheer bitterness towards humanity, so when Karim gets a chance to spread his wings again, he takes it with a vengeance.
Hough starred in the series Home before dark and offered Nightcrawler’s voice inside X-Men ’97.
