Taylor Swift announced five support acts for the next London date of The Eras Tour today (Monday 5 August). The American megastar is already supported by American rock band Paramore, but this afternoon she revealed five more acts who will grace Wembley Stadium during the five nights in London of her ERAS tour.
They are RAYE, Holly Humberstone, Maisie Peters, Sofia Isella and Suki Waterhouse. Paramore will perform as the chief support act on all five dates from Thursday 14th August to Tuesday 20th August.
Each of the five acts Taylor has named today will open on one night, with Sofia Isella opening on Thursday, Holly Humberstone on Friday, Suki Waterhouse on Saturday, Maisie Peters on Monday and finally RAYE on Tuesday.
Taylor wrote about her story: “Just wanted to tell you about something coming up that I’ve been so excited about: we’re adding 5 incredible artists to our 5 Wembley shows, right before @paramore!! I asked them to play at this tour because I love their music and think they’ll smash it at Wembley Stadium if you haven’t already! maisiehpeters @rave.”
Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour – which broke all records as the first concert tour to surpass $1 billion in ticket sales – kicked off last March 17 in Glendale, Arizona, and first came to London’s Wembley Stadium on June 21, 22 and 23. to London this month on August 15, 16, 17, 19 and 20.
The star will perform 152 dates for the tour, which ends on December 8, 2024, and it has been met with widespread acclaim and comparisons to the Beatlemania of the 1960s.
Politicians in Canada and Chile have lobbied for the sold-out tour to take place in their countries, with campaigns launched for more tour dates in Southeast Asia.
