Rick Stein restaurants take prices back until 1975 to celebrate the opening of a seafood restaurant in Padstow for 50 years.

Selected Rick Stein restaurants offer 6-9. February 1970s prices during lunch.

Over -sample dishes in the rolled and retro menu include crustacean soup 50p, grilled lobster £ 2,80, seafood thermon for £ 2.20 and Cornish Bouillabaisse for £ 2.60.

The desserts in the menu include 35p and apple pancakes with Calvados sauce 40p.

For the community, 25 tables for two participants are reserved for community candidates that allow people to identify individuals who deserve a special lunch.

However, wine, cocktails and drinks are still priced in 2025.

The 50th anniversary restaurants include a seafood restaurant in Padstow, as well as group locations in Winchester, Marlborough, Sandbanks and London Barnes.

Rick and Jill Stein opened a seafood restaurant in 1975, and 50 years later, their family business has expanded to cover 10 restaurants, pubs, cook schools, 40 guest rooms, self -service principles and four shops.

Rick and Jill Stein are still actively involved in business with their son Jack, Charlie and Ed, taking leading roles in the company.

Rick said, “Over the last 50 years, we are so grateful to anyone who has been part of this incredible journey from our loyal customers, a talented team and stunning journalists. We look forward to all the celebrations this year! “

Jill said, “Rick and I imagined a little when we opened the doors in 1975 that we would still be here 50 years later, celebrating half a century of iconic seafood. We welcome you to join us to celebrate the golden year. “

Rulla-Selkänoja follows the success of a similar St John celebration, which marked its 30th anniversary last year by offering its 1994 menu at the original prices.

Special event bookings will operate on January 24 at 10am, and reservations can only be made through the owned page on the group’s website.
