The Radisson Hotel Group has revealed its plans to open a 401-room Hotel Manchester City Football Club at the ETIhad Stadium, which is scheduled to be launched at the end of 2026.

Radisson has announced that the Medlock hotel serves visitors who attend events at the stadium and the nearby Co-Op Live Arena.

The hotel has a suite, deluxe and standard rooms and a luxurious penthouse and is managed by Valor Hospital.

The hotel offers a selection of F&B options, roof walking, museum experience and office space.

Elie Younes, Executive Vice President of Radisson, said: “Our brands are always relevant to our owners and our guests. We are excited about the cooperation with the Manchester City Football Club and to create a global flagship in Manchester’s world-class Etihad campus.

“This hotel is a great addition to a growing portfolio of several stadium-based properties in the United Kingdom, such as a well-known cricket trip, EdgBaston Stadium, Allianz Stadium Twigkenham, England’s Rugby’s home and worldwide in India and China. We are grateful for the confidence of Manchester City with our brands and confident that our long -term cooperation will open up additional opportunities for all stakeholders. “

Roel de Vries, the operational director of City Football Group, said: “Today’s announcement is an exciting moment when we reveal the name of the hotel as Medlock and welcome to the worldwide hotelman, Radisson Hotel Group, Etihad.

“The enthusiasm and passion for the Radisson Hotel Group is clear, and we firmly believe that its industrial experience together with the club’s ambition and vision for the hotel is the perfect combination.

“We are looking forward to working with Radisson as we move towards the opening of the hotel and all year round sports and entertainment, which can enjoy fans and visitors from the United Kingdom and around the world.”

The hotel takes Radisson Blu and Radisson Hotel Group in 1,520 hotels for operation or developing.
