Oasis have announced a pre-sale ballot to help fans secure tickets for the band’s reunion shows at Wembley Stadium and elsewhere. The vote will help fans get a “fair opportunity” to buy tickets to the events, which are expected to be very popular.
A post on the Oasis X page said: “Register for the 2025 UK & Ireland vote. A ticket sale will be held on Friday 30 August, ahead of Saturday’s general sale.
“To ensure the maximum number of fans have a reasonable opportunity to access tickets, applicants will be selected for the pre-sale via a ballot. Ballot registration is open now and closes at 7pm BST, Wednesday 28 August.” Enter your email address here for pre-order access.
The post added: “Successful applicants will receive an email with full access details on the morning of Friday 30 August. Success in the ballot will not guarantee tickets. Tickets will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.”
Oasis tickets go on general sale from Saturday 31 August 2024 at 09.00.
Liam and Noel Gallagher confirmed Oasis’ long-awaited reunion with a worldwide tour in 2025 on Tuesday, saying: “The great wait is over.” The Britpop band, who split almost 15 years ago and released their chart-topping album Definitely Maybe some three decades ago, have announced the run of dates will kick off at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium.
The UK & Ireland tour will also visit Manchester’s Heaton Park, London’s Wembley Stadium, Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium and Dublin’s Croke Park throughout July and August next year. Noel, 57, quit the Manchester rock group on 28 August 2009, saying he “simply couldn’t go on working with Liam another day”.
They confirmed the Oasis Live 25 tour, saying: “The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come and see. It won’t be televised.”
The dates are as follows: Principality Stadium July 4 and 5; Heaton Park July 11, 12, 19, 20, 25 and 26; Wembley Stadium August 2 and 3; Murrayfield Stadium August 8 and 9; and Croke Park on August 16 and 17.
Who Was The Original Oasis Drummer And Where Is He Now?
As part of the process of entering the poll, fans are asked to choose from multiple choice options to say who the original drummer was in Oasis. Tony McCarroll was the band’s original drummer.
He joined the Britpop stars in the 1980s when they were still known as The Rain. During his time with Oasis, the drummer contributed to the band’s legendary debut album Definitely Maybe (1994), before leaving in 1995.
