The internet is abuzz with rumors that the Gallagher brothers could finally bury the hatchet with an Oasis reunion planned for Wembley next year. One of Britain’s biggest and most loved British bands, Oasis haven’t performed together in 15 years.
The band look set to reunite in both Manchester and London in the summer of 2025, with possible more gigs planned at Heaton Park and Wembley Stadium, according to The Times.
They have also reported that Wembley is rumored to be booked for ten full nights, breaking Taylor Swift’s record of eight gigs. And there are even rumblings that the band could take Glastonbury’s headline slot, according to the same publication.
Liam Gallagher appeared to confirm planned shows, responding to a user on X who commented on a Sunday Times tweet: “See you at the front you big f****.”
The brothers’ feud began in 2009, after Noel left the band, reportedly saying: “It is with some sadness and great relief to tell you that I quit Oasis tonight. People will write and say what they like but I just couldn’t go on . work with Liam one day longer.”
Both brothers continued their solo careers and occasionally exchanged frosty words over social media. Liam continued to perform with Oasis’ remaining members as Beady Eye, while Noel formed the new band High Flying Birds.
However, their relationship appears to have softened recently, with Noel complimenting his brother in a video celebrating the 30th anniversary of their hit album Definitely, Maybe. Noel said: “When I sang a song, it would sound good. When he sang it, it sounded good.”
