Prepare to have a whale of a time, as the ultimate party-throwers are back with yet another event that’s sure to rock your world. The Natural History Museum have become pretty renowned for holding parties inside their iconic Hintze Hall. But for the first time ever, they’re throwing a family-friendly edition of their legendary silent disco. Because why should the grown-ups get to have all the fun, hey?
The very first Dino Disco will take place on March 28after hours. Once the museum has closed its doors to the public, party-goers can head in, don a set of headphones, and dance the night away under the watchful eye bones of Hope (the 25 metre blue whale skeleton that’s suspended from the museum’s ceiling).
Three DJs will be battling it out, playing simultaneously over three separate wireless channels. There will be tunes to cater for kids and adults alike, so plug yourself in, pick your favourite DJ, and prepare to party the night away. Food and drink stations will also be available throughout the party to keep visitors fueled and hydrated.
Perfect for groups and families with children between the ages of 6 and twelve, the Dino Disco starts at 7pm and will finish at 9pm. Tickets cost £13.50 for members and £15 for non-members. But you’d better be speedy, as tickets have just gone on sale, and they usually get snapped up faster than you can say ‘Tyrannosaurus rex’.
