Napoli On The Road has received all the best plaudits for being among the world’s best pizzas over the years, but it still feels like something of a secret, reserved for those out in the west of the city. Its Richmond and Chiswick branches have long been the only places to try food from the chef who has repeatedly cleaned up at the 50 Top Pizza awards (get a load of the accolades here!).
Now, you’ll be able to taste Chef Michele Pascarella’s Beautiful Pizza pies in the centre of the city, with the third Napoli On The Road restaurant set to land in Soho towards the end of the year.

With old & new tricks planned for their 100-space third restaurant, this is certainly a pizza restaurant to look out for. You’ll be able to try their delicious pizza in the a la carte style on the ground floor, but downstairs at Napoli On The Road 3 will be reserved for a ‘fine dining concept’. When speaking to The StandardChef Pascarella spoke of a new pizza tasting menu, as well as six-course Neapolitan tasting menus. He also spoke of triple-cooked pizza, a wine flight, salads, focaccia, antipasti and more. All exciting, all (presumably) delicious, and all set to land on Wardour Street towards the end of October.
Wherever you choose to dine, you can guarantee high-quality Neapolitan cuisine that still puts pizza at the heart of its menu, all with a negroni to wash it all down. And is there really anything better in life than that?
When discussing further openings, Chef Michele Pascarella said that he doesn’t wish to expand to other locations so that the quality can be kept intact. Speaking to The Standard on the news of Napoli On The Road’s Soho opening, he said: “Soho is full of creativity, culture and open-minded attitudes. Soho was where I first began working in London and returning feels like a homecoming and a dream come true. But we don’t want to become a chain. There’ll be no more after this because the quality drops.”
Napoli On The Road will open its third location at 140 Wardour Street. It is slated to be ready for service in late October.
