
Come this summer, Londoners will be able to witness Mogwai at their loudest in the great outdoors as they’re the latest act to be confirmed for South Facing Festival in Crystal Palace Park this summer.
The Scottish post-rock band have been announced as headliners with Irish folk group Lankum also on the bill, with the concert taking place on August 7.

This gig will mark Mogwai’s only UK show this summerand for Lankum fans, it’s the only chance to catch them in London this year. Mogwai released their 11th studio album, The Bad Fireearlier this year. Lankum’s latest album, False Lankumwas shortlisted for the Mercury Music Prize following its release in 2023.

General sale tickets to the Mogwai headliner of South Facing Festival go on sale next Friday, March 28. You can gain access to the artist pre-sale on Wednesday, March 26 to have a go at bagging tickets early. Sign up to the band’s mailing list here by midnight on Tuesday, March 25 to access the pre-sale.
Who else is playing South Facing Festival?
Basement Jaxx are coming back to play a duo of shows at South Facing on August 22 and 23, and the space will also welcome the second year of Big Smoke: the festival curated by Skepta. Nile Rogers & Chic will get everyone dancing at the Love Motion event on August 24with shows for Flackstock and Tinlicker (live) also announced.
