McDonald’s is slashing the cost of a full breakfast meal to well under £3 this week. From 17 April, McDonald’s customers can get a single sausage and egg or an egg McMuffin and a standard hot drink, soft drink or bottled drink (excluding Toffee Latte, McCafe Iced Drinks and Milkshakes) for £2.79.
A McDonald’s spokesman said: “The word on the street is that it’s better and it’s 6p cheaper than Greggs … and it’s available every morning before 11am in all restaurants only!”
And today, Monday, McDonald’s Halloumi Fries have been reduced in price to £1.49, and the breakfast roll is available for £1.99. Both offers are available exclusively through the McDonald’s app.
There is also an option for customers to donate equivalent cash points to BBC Children in Need, FareShare and Ronald McDonald House Charities to support the company’s commitment to funding and supporting youth work, along with reducing food poverty and food waste in the UK.
McDonald’s breakfast is available from 05:00-11:00, and McDonald’s lunch menu is available from 11:00 daily.
