As if we didn’t need more titles to inflate our egos, London can add another accolade to its ever-growing list of honours which currently includes being the most searched for destination, and the best city in the world. TripAdvisor has named London as the top European destination for 2024, a title that we accept with pleasure.
How did TripAdvisor come to this conclusion? The travel company analysed the volume of reviews and the quality of hotels, restaurants, and things to do at destinations around the globe and in its Best of the Best category, London came out on top as the number one destination in all of Europe.
“From Shoreditch’s swaggering style to Camden’s punky vibe and chic Portobello Road, London is many worlds in one. The city’s energy means that no two days are the same,” explains TripAdvisor and we agree. The city offers so much from area to area, anything and everything can happen in London because the city is so many things – it’s a huge part of its charm and why we love it too.
“Explore royal or historic sites, tick off landmarks from your bucket list, eat and drink in exclusive Michelin-starred restaurants, enjoy a pint in a traditional pub, or get lost down winding cobbled streets and see what you stumble across – when it comes to London, the possibilities are endless.” As quite literal experts in London (it is our job) we here at Secret London wholeheartedly agree and find it a joy that every day we let you in on all the things the city offers, it’s a hellovalot.
