Chocolate lovers rejoice- Lindt is opening a huge flagship shop in Central London next year. The beloved Swiss brand has announced they will transform the former Gap under the Piccadilly Lights before welcoming customers in Spring 2025.

Described as a ‘shopping experience like no other’, the megastore will sell the world-famous truffles, bars and giftboxes, as well as Piccadilly exclusives and seasonal specials. There will also be a pick & mix station and ‘in-store delights’ made by ChocoBaristas.

The most exciting news however is the addition of multiple immersive experience. Shoppers will have the chance to meet Lindt’s master chocolatiers and discover the art of chocolate making first-hand.

It’s not yet known what this will look like but the Lindt museum in Switzerland lets visitors create their own chocolate figurines and lollipops so it’s likely this UK branch will offer something similar.

Faythe King, the D2C & e-commerce director at Lindt and Sprüngli UK & Ireland, said: “We are thrilled to bring the exquisite taste of Lindt Chocolate to the heart of London, offering a unique, enchanting experience for chocolate lovers – something truly unique to the UK.

” This marks a significant milestone for Lindt & Sprüngli as we expand our presence in one of the world’s most dynamic and vibrant cities. Our passion for captivating the world with our chocolate remains as strong as ever, and we can’t wait to share more details about this new chapter soon.”

If you want to get your hands on some Lindt chocolate ahead of the West End store opening, Amazon has some great deals in the run-up to Christmas. This includes a 1kg bag of milk Lindor truffles for just £26.25, which at £2.63/100g works out cheaper than Tesco and Sainsbury’s.
