Ok, we have a confession. We have spent the last few evenings completely obsessed with Netflix’s Selling The City, and now we’re already desperate for a season two.

The latest in Netflix’s real estate reality collection, Selling The City follows the agents at Eleonora Srugo’s team at Douglas Elliman in New York. Across the eight episodes, which dropped last week, we get to see the top of New York real estate, think million dollar penthouses with floor to ceiling windows over looking Manhattan, and of course a big dose of drama between the agents.

And given how the series ended on a rather tense note we are desperate for it to come back. So is Selling The City returning for season two? Here’s what we know so far.

Has Selling The City season 2 been confirmed?

As of yet there’s been no word from Netflix Selling The City will be back for a second season.

However, there’s no reason to give up just yet. Netflix often wait to see how the audience responds to a show before announcing their decision to renew or cancel a series.

Given they often renew their real estate reality shows (we’re on season eight of Selling Sunset afterall) we’re optimistic the show will return.

What could potentially happen in Selling The City season 2?

The first season ended on a pretty major cliff-hanger, with Jade and Abi having an intense conversation that resulted in Jade walking out of filming and threatening to sue Netflix. Just as an update, she didn’t end up bringing legal action against the streamer.

Given how the show wrapped up, we’d expect a second season to pick up this argument with Jade and Abi and see if the pair could work together as colleagues.

We’d also hope to see the developments of Eleonora’s $45million penthouse listing, as it is currently still unsold. So maybe we could see more of the work around that listing in a future season.

Who could potentially appear in Selling The City season 2?

If the series were to make a return, we’d expect to see the following cast members comeback:

  • Eleonora Srugo
  • Jordyn Taylor
  • Gisselle Meneses Nunez
  • Jade Chan
  • Abigail Godfrey
  • Taylor Middleton
  • Justin Tuinstra
  • Steven Gold

Guess we’ll just have to keep our fingers crossed for that season two renewal announcement.
