This restaurant has made culinary history by being London’s first Greek restaurant to be awarded a Michelin starrapidly becoming the city’s most sought-after reservation.

Nestled above Borough Marketthis stunning restaurant brings the flavours and spirit of the Greek isles to the heart of Londonblending tradition with modern flair and attracting food lovers from across the globe.

This is Own. Oma’s ascent to Michelin-star status marks a significant milestone for Greek food in Britain. Despite the cuisine’s popularity, no Greek restaurant in the UK had previously achieved this distinction.

Chef Jorge Paredesformerly of Flavorand owner David Carterknown for Smokestak and Butterhave created a dining experience that is both heartening and innovative. The menu draws inspiration from Greece and the Levant, offering dishes that are bold, balanced, and deeply flavourful, while not being strictly bound by tradition.

Why Oma is one of London’s busiest restaurant

The restaurant’s open kitchen, live-fire grill, and crudo bar serve as the heart of the experience, delivering everything from mezze and breads to standout mains like charred lamb belly with hummus, spanakopita gratin, and oxtail giouvetsi with bone marrow.

Their is located above its bustling sister restaurant, Now. The entrance is discreet, tucked away in a passageway leading into the main market area, adding an air of exclusivity and discovery to the experience. The dining room offers a sleek, minimalist design with floor-to-ceiling views and a covered, heated terrace – perfect for people-watching over Borough Market.

Since opening in 2024, Their has drawn waves of discerning diners, thanks to its innovative take on Greek cuisine, its Michelin star, and its prime location in one of London’s most iconic food destinations. The buzz is further amplified by its reputation for delivering both comfort and sophistication, making it a must-visit for locals and tourists alike.

How to book a table at Oma

Given its popularity, securing a table at Their requires some planning. So here’s some tips and tricks to secure a spot.

Online reservations: Oma accepts online bookings for tables of up to 8 people, available up to 30 days in advance.

Walk-ins: Counter seats are reserved for walk-ins, but these are limited and tend to fill up quickly, especially during peak hours.

Group bookings: Larger groups can inquire via their website for special arrangements.

Cancellation policy: Their requests at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a £50 per person fee.

Opening Hours:
