E-ACT Bourne End Academy was rated ‘Good’ overall by Ofsted and ‘Outstanding’ for leadership and management. E-ACT Bourne End Academy was praised in its latest Ofsted report for the efforts made by all staff within the school. The report said: “The welfare of pupils is a strength of the school. Staff work tirelessly to support pupils who need help to change their behaviour.
Current vacancies
E-ACT Bourne End Academy currently has three vacancies – PE Teacher, Cover Tutor and Exam Invigilator. Regardless of role, staff are encouraged to help develop students further.
The role as a physical education teacher is full-time and involves, among other things,discover challenging teaching and learning objectives relevant to all students in your classes, and set high expectations for students to ensure they achieve their full educational potential.
Also a full-time role within the Academy, cover supervisors are expected to supervise students undertaking work set out in accordance with Academy policy, under the guidance of teachers/seniors. Monitoring and evaluating student responses to learning, the role will also involve encouraging students to interact and collaborate with others and engage all students in activities.
The only part-time role currently available at E-ACT Bourne End Academy, Exam Invigilators are expected to monitor exams following documented processes, procedures and rules to ensure exams are run in a safe, confidential and appropriate environment.
