Feeling nervous about the game tomorrow (July 22) already? Just imagine what you’ll be feeling as the match between England and Italy kicks off, just a couple of hours away from learning who will be in Sunday’s (July 27) final. Some of us may want a little something to calm the nerves, and a pint never goes amiss during a big game.
Young’s Pubs is well aware of all that, and will be giving away a free pint to anyone watching the Lionesses take on Italy in the Women’s Eurosas England look to repeat their success and retain the European Championship trophy. After narrowly beating Sweden last week via penalty shootout, the final is now within grasp.
How to bag yourself a free pint if you’re watching England in the semi-finals
All you need to do is make sure you have the Young’s app downloaded, and head over to the ‘your treats’ section. Here, you should be able to find a pint of Camden Hells waiting for you to claim. Then, all you need to do is head to Young’s pub and place your order before settling in to watch the game.
If you can’t make it to the pub on matchday, don’t worry. Your pint will remain in the app until you claim it this week; just make sure to do so by July 27which just so happens to be the day of the Euros final. Save until then or deploy your free pint in the semi-final… that’s the kind of tactical decision the managers are paid top dollar for.
If England makes it past Italy tomorrow, eyes will turn to the matchup between Spain and Germany to see who the opponent in the last game will be. The Lionesses have previous with both teams – a matchup against Spain means coming face to face with the team who caused heartbreak in the 2023 World Cup final, and will be a welcome chance at revenge. A game against Germany, however, would be a repeat of the final in 2022 when Chloe Kelly’s winner led to glory for England.
Whatever happens, a free pint is a free pint, and you can grab yourself one when you choose at a Young’s pub this week.
England face Italy tomorrow (July 22), with the match kicking off at 8pm UK time.
