Harley Young Pairing Nogron with proper pasta in mint green surroundings
The first location in Bloom outside London, Lina Stores Manchester, was opened this year on Thursday, April 17, a lot for Hubbub, who know the brand of London, who were eager to get some newly made pasta and artisan delicacies home.
Despite the fact that the black black outer surface of 17 Quay Street is a bit more subtle than the green -gloss facades of its southern sister sites, Lina Stores Manchester has already built so much hype that it has an almost constant conveyor belt clients, holding the restaurant and deli explosive from the moment.

Within two weeks, the Lina stores had already transformed their negative space into very sexy, slightly stylish – in a good way – a speech called Bar Lina; Just follow the toilet signs and you will find plush, red, 80-style seats and expertly shaken cocktails that overshadow a heavy velvet curtain (though I can’t promise this is all Italian restaurants, then step carefully).
My partner and I had arrived early in our reservation, so we decided to start the evening there. Dave chose the clover club (Positano Gin, Raspberry and Lemon – £ 11), while I was pleasantly surprised by Essenza from the Virgin Cocktail menu (amaro 0%, lemon bald heartfelt, lemon and black Cherry kombucha).

The bartenders and servers here are fantastic, very knowledgeable and just the right number of chatty, and the moods are also quite there. Just notice that your eyes may take a moment to adapt to very low lighting – as if there is a really dark scene during the movie and you have bundled in a loop. They add more from that Neo’s pink pipe lighting to a mix and they are for the winner.

The drinks were polished, we ditched in darkness by changing it to its bright, fresh, mint green walls, blue -green banquet and chequerboard floors that formed the interior of the restaurant. There was some stripped of it with an industrial emotion, but still imprisoning its signature of the old school Italian elegance that makes you feel in safe hands, the restaurant and Deli share the same space on the shelves of artisans that act as a dealer – Passaccini jars – add some great colors.
Perhaps a few of these dealers or soft furniture would provide a useful sound absorption method, as the noise seems to go very easily over the open location. But otherwise as a need to rely closer to the conversation, I couldn’t blame the planning or layout. It is made very elegantly. Lina stores know one or two when it comes to creating an instagram-friendly space.

I ordered another collection, this time, exceptionally well -mixed Nogron (£ 9), while Dave chose a glass of Montepulciano d’ABruzzo (£ 9.25) to watch his dinner.

We ordered our taste buds in a real Italian style, ordered part of the burrata with olive oil (£ 10) and some rosemary focaccia with remains. Burrata was one of the most creamy, the latest flavors that I have ever had a pleasure to eat. Focaccia was not bad either, as three decent pieces of a light, chewy center, crispy outer edges and top of the rosemary that left us to fight over the last slice.

In our online error, both of them waved newly made pasta; Dave, who has attracted parpadelle con ragu (£ 14.50) and I tagliolini al tartofo (£ 17).
Daven Parpade arrived on long ribbons with a steaming pile under the rich and fleshy lamb sausage ragu boards, chili, seasons of green and pecorino. I would have been jealous if the taglliolini has not arrived in an equally fantastic way with the biggest truffle that swept through the air. Made with an impressive 30 -egg tagliolin, butter, parmigiano reggiano and black truffle generous chips, it was exactly what I wanted -fresh, fragrant and full of flavor.

The pasta containers are misleading and we were able to collect enough space to distribute some of the tiramis (£ 7) – a rich angle of mascarpone, coffee, savannahs and Marsala (which I had not noticed in the order, so let Dave’s lead to disassemble – the alcohol -free version goes.
All in all, I was very pleased with my visit, which had a thorough impact on the quality of both food and service and the value of money. Since then, I have returned to the Deli -Mortadella sandwich and orange cake lunch and can assure you that quality and consistency do not stop just at the restaurant and the bar Lina.
Lina Stores is a great addition to the city and another great example of successful London independent finds its place in the community here in Manchester.
