Sounds of Summer has launched, turning Kingly Court into a musical hotspot every Saturday. Attendees can expect a range of performances for free, from new DJs to established artists, curated by Soho Radio.
The curated line-up includes live sessions from artists such as Sunny Reyne, Lawne and Raquel Martins. The event also features DJ sets from Tina Edwards, Pete Fowler, Janie Jones and Simone Marie, with more to be announced soon.
The event kicked off with an outstanding performance by rapper Kojey Radical on July 20. His blend of rap, funk and spoken word set the tone for an unforgettable summer series.
Soho venues join new music programming. Newly opened The Little Violet Door will host DJ-led house parties from Wednesday to Saturday, while unconventional Japanese restaurant Inko Nito will have DJ nights every Friday.
Intimate bar Under The Counter will offer a daily mix of jazz, R&B and funk, with special sets by DJ Macido on Fridays. Cahoots will spin retro tunes every weekend, and Nightjar will feature top musicians every night.
Mediterranean restaurant Hovarda will have international DJs from Thursday to Saturday, and Japanese restaurant Chotto Matte will introduce ‘The Sounds of Chotto’ with local DJs. Antidote Wine Bar will team up with Third Man Records for a special DJ set on August 1st.
