the entrance to fairgame's second site, with a rotating duck waiting to greet visitors

Back in 2023, Fairgame landed in Canary Wharf with a splash, bringing to the city a 20,000 square foot adult playground. The spot proved ultra-popular, merging the nostalgia of arcade games and fairgrounds with grown-up aspects (boozy candy floss) thrown in for good measure.

The immersive adult’s playground has captured the attention of many a city dweller pining for the days out at the theme park, and now a second site is set to land in the centre of London. Set to open on August 21, Fairgame’s second site will follow the same format as its Canary Wharf cousin, bringing the funfair to the middle of the city. But it will also feature unique experiences, exclusive to the location.

Fairgame’s second site

The new site has already gone ahead and one-upped the OG Canary Wharf site, with a whopping 24,500 square feet spot. It’s also in a stunning spot, directly across the road from St. Paul’s Cathedral.

As you enter, you’ll be greeted by an enormous 15-foot rotating duck that looms over the entrance. Then, upon descending, visitors will find themselves in a “vibrant neon playground” where all manner of attractions, food, and more await. Food comes from the likes of Burger & Beyond, Alby’s Pizza, and Le Bab. Oh, and naturally, they’re bringing back their infamous Prosecco-infused Candy Floss. And then there are the games…

But they’re not about to just hook up the same games at the new spot, are they? While Fairgame City follows the same template as Fairgame Canary Wharf, they’re promising visitors a brand new selection of 12 completely reimagined fairground games exclusive to the site. These include:

  • Joy Ride – a car-racing game where players have to react quickly to flashing lights on a gearbox.
  • Duck and Dive – a ‘pub fight brawl’ where you attempt to knock all the bottles off the shelves.
  • Beaky Finders – the “largest indoor hook-a-duck ever created”.
  • Money Bags – a futuristic reimagining of cornhole.
  • and more…

While you play, be sure to try out the funfair-themed cocktails. And don’t forget to return with even more mates, as the new Fairmiles loyalty system means rewards return visits with exclusive merch and prizes.

Fairgame City will open at One New Change, EC4M 9AF, on August 21.
