Not long after taking home the Mercury Prize last year for their debut album, English Teacher have gone ahead and announced their biggest UK tour to date.
They will play a huge show at the Roundhouse in Camden on November 26 to mark the last date of a tour that also includes shows in Nottingham, Newcastle, Glasgow, Manchester, and a homecoming performance in Leeds.

It’s by far the biggest set of shows to date for English Teacher, who more recently have played the KOKO in Camden and The Lower Third on Denmark Street.
English Teacher won the Mercury Prize for their album This Could Be Texas in September last year, seeing off competition from the likes of Charli XCX, The Last Dinner Party, Nia Archives, and fellow Leeds nominee Corinne Bailey Rae. They are also nominated for Best Newcomers at the BRIT Awards, which take place this Saturday (March 1).
