What are Raid Battles in Pokemon Go?
Participating in raid battles gives you the chance to catch rare Pokémon.
Raid Battles occur when a Boss Pokemon takes over a Gym. You can find them by wandering around local gyms and looking out for eggs that are about to hatch or Boss Pokémon that are part of an ongoing raid.
These Pokemon are very powerful, so it is recommended to team up with some other trainers to win. There are four levels: 1 star, 3 stars, 5 stars and Mega Raids. The higher the level, the harder the battle.
But raid battles are worth the time and effort. In addition to winning special items, you also have a chance to catch the Pokemon you beat. In the case of 5-star raids, these will be legendaries that you can’t get anywhere else.
How to get Raid Passes in Pokemon Go
Raid Pass is required to participate in Raids.
You need a Raid Pass to participate in a raid battle. You can earn one Raid Pass per day by spinning the Photo Disc at any gym. You can buy a Premium Raid Pass in the shop if you run out of one.
Remote Raid Pass is also available in Go. These are ideal for trainers who can’t leave the house, as they allow you to join any raid battle that is on the nearby screen or accessible from the map view.
Remote raid pass can be bought in store or received from time to time in the form of free gifts.
How to catch Pokemon in raid battles
Premier Balls allow you to catch legendary Pokemon.
When you manage to defeat a Raid Boss, you have the chance to capture it. You will be given a certain number of Premier Balls to use, but it is not guaranteed that you will be able to catch them, especially if it is a legendary, as they have very low catch rates.
Here are some ways to increase the number of Premier Balls you get:
- Add a great damage au boss du Raid.
- Your the team does a lot of damage au boss du Raid.
- Control the gym where the raid takes place.
- Participate in Raids with friends .
Don’t forget that you can also use Razz Berries, or even better, Golden Razz Berries, to help you capture Raid bosses. Get excellent throws or spinning curveballs will also increase your chances.
Now that you’re all aware of the Raids and the creatures you can battle in gyms this month, it’s time to go out and catch some Pokemon – and maybe even a Legendary. Good luck, coach!
