The chairman of the Water Company Severn Trent is followed by Adam Crozier, who has been chairman since March 2018.
Christine Hodgson has been named Whitbread Chairman, the next Adam Crozier, who played a role for seven years.
He will officially become chairman of the Premier Inn Owner on September 1, when Crozier retires the government on the same day.
Hodgson, chairman of the water company Severn Trent Plc, is a FTSE 100 chair with expertise in technology, sustainability and financing.
His previous roles include Capgemini UK Plc, an older independent director of Standard Chartered and chairman of Newton’s private consulting company.
“It is an honor to appoint a WhitBread chairman. WhitBREAD is a company with strong brands, an experienced management team and 34,000 members of a committed team throughout the organization. It is an exciting time to join the five-year plan and the premiere of the Premier Inn.
Richard Gillingwater, an older independent leader who led the selection process, added: “We have completed a thorough process, and it was clear that Christine is an excellent follower for Adam.
“It has been a privilege to lead the WhitBREAD government for this growth and change period. I am proud that when I leave business, we are on the course that Premier Inn will become European budget hotel business. I want to thank their government colleagues and the entire Whitbread team for their support during the chair and Wish Christine in the future.” Crozier commented.
This follows a Budget Hotel Brand Brand Report of 1%of the Group’s turnover 1%per week, which ends on February 27, 2025, due to the closure and rising cost pressures of the restaurant.
