Blood and water Season 4 brings back most of its main cast led by Ama Qamata and Khosi Negama alongside many exciting guest stars.
Season 4 of the popular South African Netflix series follows senior student Puleng Khumalo as he becomes embroiled in a dangerous conflict with a powerful figure while dealing with the consequences of his decisions from previous seasons.

Ama Qamata – Puleng Khumalo
Ama Qamata resurrects Puleng Khumalo Blood and water season 4
As a high school student, Puleng has experienced quite a few ups and downs in his life, fighting a human trafficking ring and finding his long-lost sister.
In Season 4, Puleng must watch his back when the leaders behind the human trafficking ring threaten him with revenge. In addition to facing serious dangers, Puleng is also romantically involved with her new love interest, Ivan Carvalho.
Blood and water is Qamata’s first significant acting work.
Khosi Ngema – Fikile Bhele
Fikile Bhele (played by Khosi Ngema) is Puleng’s half-sister who was kidnapped when he was a child, but they were eventually reunited.
At the end of the third season, Fikile and Puleng’s bond as siblings grew stronger after they had gone through the sacrifices and challenges caused by the trauma of the human trafficking ring.
Fikile is going to do whatever it takes to protect her boyfriend Sam in season 4 from the revenge plan of the leaders of the human trafficking ring.
Ngema’s great acting comes in Blood and water. The actor appeared as his character Fikile Elite.
Thabang Molaba – The best of Thabang Molaba
Thabang Molaba plays Karabo “KB” Molapo, Pulengi’s ex-boyfriend who wants to be a rapper.
In Season 4, KB’s career as a rapper takes a big turn after he performs one of his new songs at a club in Episode 2.
However, KB’s personal life takes a sharp turn after his parents are arrested and sentenced to prison for their involvement in a human trafficking ring.
Molaba’s other famous role is that of Maki Diamond City.
Leroy Siyafa – Sam Nikosana
Leroy Siyafan’s Sam Nikosana is the son of a school counselor and Fikile’s boyfriend.
Although Sam’s life is threatened by the leader of the human traffickers, the character’s journey in season 4 is mainly focused on helping Fikile with his dangerous life choices, such as Puleng’s sex tape being leaked online.
Siyafa is also known for playing Mghobozi King Shaka.
Mekaila Mathis – Tahira Kahn
Mekaila Mathys will reprise her role as Tahira Kahn in season 4.
Tahira is Fikile’s rival in high school, who works as head girl.
After being stripped of her position as Head Girl in Season 3, Tahira is out for revenge, and she’s up to no good either because she’s in the lead for cheating on the exams.
Mathys performed earlier in the year Power, The deep stateand Central.
Dillon Windvogel – Wade Daniels
Dillon Windvogel plays Wade Daniels, Puleng’s ex-boyfriend and son of the school principal.
After an emotional breakup with Puleng, Wade sees a new love interest, Asanda, in the fourth season.
Windvogel has credits Spinners, Bhai Cafeand Arendsvlei.
André Lamoglia – Ivan Caravalho
André Lamoglia returns his Elite character, Ivan Caravalho, in Blood and water.
Appearing as an exchange student from Las Encinas School in Spain, Ivan quickly bonds with Puleng. When Ivan and Puleng are intimate, the couple becomes the target of a sex tape, which the latter’s extortionist plans to spread to school and online.
Lamoglia is best known for his performances Juacas, Traitor, and Bia.
Gail Mabalane – Thandeka Khumalo
Gail Mabalane is part of the Season 4 Cast as Thandeka Khumalo, Pulengi’s mother.
Thandeka’s journey in the new season focuses on finding a new job in the city and developing feelings for Fikile’s father Anthony.
Fans may recognize Mabalane from his roles Compensation, With unseeing eyesand Rockville.
Odia Gwanya – Siya
Odia Gwanya plays Siya, Pulengi’s younger brother and Gail’s son.
Siya remains one of her sister’s support systems amid the looming threat of a blackmailer in season four.
Gwanya performed earlier in the year Bhai Cafe and Child things.
Tumisho Masha – Main Grootboom
Tumisho Masha appears as the main responsible Grootboom in season 4.
Grootboom is the new principal of Parkhurst High after the previous one was fired. In his introductory speech, he promises to maintain order in the school.
Masha is known for her roles Land invasion, Domesticand Prison.
Natasha Thahane – Wendy Diamini
Natasha Thahane plays Wendy Diamini, the school’s most popular student and head of the school newspaper.
In the midst of cheating during the exams, Wendy complained to the principal about the students’ illegal ways.
Thahane has credits Protection inside, Scheme Togetherand I have seen it.
Arno Greeff – Christopher Ackerman
Arno Greeff’s Christoper Ackerman is one of Fikile’s close friends Blood and water.
In Season 4, Chris’s house is at the center of controversy after it served as the scene of an alleged sex tape between Puleng and Ivan.
Greeff previously played Ben Hugo Legacy. The actress also appeared in Recipes Love & Murder, Quicklyand Playboyz.
Meggan Lee Johnstone – Leigh-Anne
Meggan Lee Johnstone returns in season 4 as Leigh-Anne, Puleng’s schoolmate who is constantly active on social media.
In the new season, Puleng blames Leigh-Anne for leaking her and Ivan’s Sex Video after finding out she has a copy of it on her phone.
Blood and water is Johnstone’s only notable acting performance.
Mpho Sibeko – The best of Mpho Sibeko
Mpho Sibeko plays Lunga, Pulengi’s cousin who is secretly in love with Chris.
At the beginning of the fourth season, Lunga tries so hard to hide his feelings for Chris because Chris already has a girlfriend.
Sibeko is known for his roles Don’t need a man, Gold diggers 2and Rhythm city.
