As more of us entertains us outdoors and adopt the relaxed charm of Alfresco dining, the BBQ favorites of English wines to BBQ will have a growing trend. In addition with searches ‘wine storage at home’ +450%1It is clear that many are looking for smart ways to save and serve wine in time for the BBQ season.

Wren Kitchens Darren Watts Kitchen Expert has collaborated with Ruth Simpson, founder of Simpsons Winery2Combines two essential ingredients for a memorable summer: eat wine and great kitchen design.

How to protect your wine bottle in the heat

As the temperatures rise, the proper storage of wine becomes crucial for the preservation of taste, structure and aroma. The quality of wine can easily suffer if the summer is stored in the summer.

For those with or without a budget for a complete wine cooler, there are still stylish and practical options. “Slimline wine shelves can be installed on the kitchen counter, next to the chefs, or even installed vertically to utilize an unused wall space. These minor changes help to maintain the smooth environment of the wine, far from light and fluctuating,” Darren says.

Why can a wine cooler lift your kitchen

For wine enthusiasts who want a premium solution, the wine cooler is a valuable investment, not just luxury.

“A well -designed wine cooler does more than just cooling your wine,” Darren explains. “It offers controlled temperature zones and sometimes contains UV resin glasses to protect bottles from light exposure. The two-zone designs are ideal for those who enjoy both red and white, allowing everyone to store it at perfect temperature.”

He adds that modern winemakers have a variety of finishes and sizes, making them easy to integrate into existing kitchen layouts from free-standing models to seamless ground floor models. Thin line models also fit into tight spaces, which makes them a perfect choice if the space is limited.

Creating storage solutions for compact kitchens

Even in compact kitchens, wine storage in elegantly and safely is possible with the right design choice. Darren recommends designing unused or difficult spaces.

“Corner units or even the island’s page can become subtle winemaking areas,” he says. “Built -in vertical gray shelves and open shelves offer both functionality and a design feature that is ideal for homeowners who want to make wine part of the kitchen.”

Perfect BBQ pairs with English wines

Wine pairing with BBQ can bring up incredible new dimensions of taste and English wines are more versatile than many understand. Ruth offers its expert recommendations to match classic BBQ foods with standout English bottles.

“For grilled meat, the classic recommendation is a bold, tannic red. Rabbit hole stacks noir, softer, fruit -driven red, couples beautifully with grilled ribs,” Ruth says. “Grilled chicken is another BBQ favorite, and Rome Road Chardonnay, a barrel-age and more complete body, is ideal for a companion. And if you feel rinsing, Q-class Pinot Noirin Magnum offers added frame and intensity, which makes it perfectly chosen alongside grilled steak.”

Vegetarian and vegetable-based couples

Vegetarian BBQ friends are not left in the wine pairing. Whether it is grilled halloumi, charred vegetables or plant -based burgers, is English wines that complement these foods as beautifully.

“For vegetable -based or vegetarian alternatives, we recommend” wine unicorn “Derringstone, still white stacking meunier,” Ruth explains. “It’s a dry, distinctive profile of the bone, an incredibly food -friendly and great match for grilled vegetables and cheese.”
